You'll only get those numbers if you run 93-octane fuel, however, and it's unclear exactly how much of a power penalty will result from the use of 87-octane gas (Ford only publishes the more impressive numbers). The 2.7-liter engine's output increases from 315 horsepower to 335, and torque jumps 30 pound-feet, to 380. Inside, unique front seats boast beefier side bolsters with fabric inserts - all the better to hug you with while cornering - though the high seating position caused by the thick bottom cushion makes it difficult to get comfortable behind the wheel. Bigger side sills and special dual exhaust outlets offer sporty touches on the Edge's sides and rear, and the crossover rides on standard 20- or available 21-inch wheels. It comes standard with 20-inch wheels and has 21-inch wheels available. The Edge ST has a few differences to distinguish it from the other trims. Adaptive cruise control with evasive steering, adaptive LED headlights, and an automatic parking system are available options. It comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assist features, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking. Its 8-inch touchscreen is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It comes with push-button start, wireless charging, remote start, and a hands-free liftgate. The Edge also has a number of standard features. The five-passenger crossover fits a family and is great to drive as well. It is taller for a performance vehicle, but CarBuzz still found it fun to drive. Its highest speed is estimated to be about 130 MPH, and it’s also able to tow up to 3,500 lbs too. It also features an upgraded suspension and thicker anti-roll bars. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and comes with all-wheel drive. The Edge ST is the only Edge version that has this engine. With its performance 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost V6, the 2020 Ford Edge ST generates 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. ![]()
